So, it appears that I might have an opportunity to get some work done in the next couple weeks as long as nothing big comes up for school. I know Mother's Day is coming up on the 10th, which is the second biggest holiday at my job. (I arrange fruit baskets for a living. Hahaha...I love it though, especially my co-workers. *thumbs up*) We can't really do much to prepare there except take orders and make sure we have enough baskets & balloons. So, that means I should be able to get SOMETHING done soon.

I have been practicing my craft a little whenever I get time. I've been trying to write a little bit a few times a week. It's usually right before I go to sleep, so I'm not sure how coherent it is.

But besides that, I came up with an idea for a quick, secret project. It's more of an inside joke, if anything, but I'm sure others would enjoy it as well. Not sure if I will post it on here or not, but I'll consider it.


Oh yeah, and for those who didn't know--the trip to NYC was fuckin' amazing! ( ^^)-b I loved every minute of it, except when I was in their SUPER TEENY TINY bathroom. There was an approximate 1' by 3' area in the bathroom where you could walk. It was completely nuckin' futs. ><;
...*sighs* I can't wait until everyone comes home. Soon...soon. mmph.


In other news, I went down to Galveston today with Zack, and DAMN. That place is still pretty barren after Ike. (The last hurricane that passed through, for those of you who forgot/don't know.) Most of the piers and stuff are gone or completely destroyed. I forgot to bring my camera, so I don't have pictures. But trust me when I say it's pretty fucked up. *sighs* That makes me quite upset...It's gonna be a long time before I can go fishing again. The spot where Zack and I usually fish is gone. We didn't visit it 'cause it's another half hour of driving, and I didn't feel like driving somewhere that would just break my heart. But Zack said he saw pictures and checked their website. They have pictures up there, and they admitted that the pier is gone.
